Porous surfaces in water loaded applicatios should be primed. We recommed a preliminary adhesion test on every surface. The recommended joint dimensions and maximum permissible total movement must always be heeded. Permanent pressure on the joint must be avoided as this can otherwise lead to stains or bonding problems. In the case of construction sealing foils (e. g. Soft PVC, butyl rubber, APTK, EPDM) there may be incompatibilities in the form of discolouring or loss of adhesion.
